We hope you are all staying healthy! This has been a very stressful time for all, but we are so excited to be able to open on May 26th and see all our amazing clients and friends.
If you have an appointment on the 26th please show up for your appointment unless we call and tell you otherwise and follow the guidelines below in this email.
We cannot thank you enough for all the kind words, phone calls, gift card purchases, and product curbside sales, which has kept our business aﬂoat during these COVID-19 times.
We have always taken great pride at Duncan Edward Salon with everything we do and want to inform you we will continue to do everything in our power to keep it safe for you, and our team. I am sure you are aware it will take time to get caught up with all our clients. We thank you in advance for your patience and support while we get through the hundreds of calls we have to make to contact every one of you.
So, what will be the same and what will be different when you come for your appointment?

No handshakes, no hugs 😞
We will ask you to bring a mask, we will all be wearing masks too.
When you arrive we request you come alone, wait in your car and call 608-662-9010 to let us know you are here, we will come and get you or, alert you when your stylist is ready. We will kindly ask you to sign our COVID-19 consent form. You will be asked these few questions.
1. Have you had a cough in last 14 days?
2. Have you had a fever in last 14 days? (higher than 100 degrees)
3. Have you been around anyone showing symptoms of COVOD-19 in last 14 days
4. Are you living with anyone who has been quarantined in last 14 days.
We request you leave your belongings in your car and just bring in keys, phone, and form of payment.
We will ask you to wash hands or use hand sanitizer on arriving in the salon and we will do the same.
We do have state guidelines to follow and we ask you to please be respectful of them, even if you don’t agree. It is for your safety, our safety, and, for our business to stay open.
We will have social distancing signs on our ﬂoors to remind our clients and ourselves to stay 6’apart.
We will reserve the right to refuse service to anyone exhibiting any symptoms or unwilling to follow guidelines.We request you come in with clean hair. We feel at the moment with the amount of clients trying to get in, the social distancing rule and for the safety of our clients and staff, we will be eliminating blow-dries. There will be no beverages, food and magazines, and our waiting area will be out of bounds. We will be disinfecting throughout the day. We have purchased a Purlight Sanitizing device for phones, wallets, glasses and masks. Our credit card machines are touchless so our staff do not have to touch your credit card. Please bring a pen if you do want to sign, but it is not necessary. Please limit touching retail products - we will grab them for you. Duncan is so proud of his own new line product line we got in stock after shut down, please ask for details.
